2 tsp white shortening
5 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp white flour
4 drops glycerin (found in a drug store)
Few drops of food coloring

Mix shortening, cornstarch and white flour then add glycerin. Stir until creamy. Add any food coloring that you wish. For brown makeup use cocoa or chocolate powder instead of food coloring. You can then set the make-up by dusting with talc or extra cornstarch.

When you're making your favorite punch for your halloween party don't forget the disembodied hand. Get some new latex gloves and fill them with water or juice. Tie off the opening with string or a twist tie. Place it carefully in the freezer so as not to dent the shape. Freeze well. Cut off the glove and place in the punch bowl.
